Job Description

Software/Firmware Engineers play key roles in multi-discipline teams working on new products and solutions. You'll be part of an amazing team that designs, implements, tests, and validates firmware for our next generation of LaserJet printer products. We are developing worldclass products and need great engineers to help us get the job done! You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of firmware that controls the microprocessors within our LaserJet products. You will be engineering changes to our system firmware to add new features, improve performance, make enhancements or address problem areas. You will help to review design requirements, write specifications, generate code, and formulate test plans to assure product quality.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a programming-related technical discipline (e.g. computer science, computer engineering, etc.)

Experience and knowledge:
Practical experience with various programming languages, Operating Systems, and technologies such as C, C++, Unix, Linux, Windows. A knowledge of embedded systems and microprocessor programming is essential.

Skills:
Software/firmware development and de-bugging skills. Familiarity with various logic analyzers, emulation systems, compilers, and debug tools is helpful.
